House and lot owners in San Fernando Pampanga will tell you that, just recently, trees along McArthur Highway, the main road that cuts across Bulacan and Pampanga, have all been pruned. According to the city’s Environment and Natural Resource Office, these trees, if not managed, could be threats to public safety especially now that more people are on the street because of Pokemon Go!
If the city government can make the effort of preserving nature while at the same time making the city experience better, why not make that green choice as well! Here, we’ll give you tips on how to make Pokémon planters that will make your house and lot for sale in Pampanga “be the very best!”
For this project, we’ll go with making an Oddish planter. Oddish is a plant Pokémon with leaves growing out of its head and it looks like this:
To make an Oddish planter, there are two ways. First, you can make one out of Papier-mâché. First is you have to take a small balloon, new paper cutouts, and glue diluted in water (1:2 ratio). Initially, you just have to cover the balloon’s top with paper and brush the glue solution on it, repeating until you get the thickness you want. You should end up with something like this:
Let this dry. After which, proceed to pop the balloon. What you’ll have is a papier-mâché bowl. All you need to do next is paint in blue. For the feet, you can also make them out of papier-mâché either as little oval or circles.
You can paint Oddish’s features or use beads for the eyes and cardboard for the mouth. Next, you’ll have to plant. Make sure that your bowl has a whole at the bottom (about 2cm in diameter) before you fill it up with soil. Put in soil for until about a third of the planter’s capacity and grow your chosen plant in it.
If you have a lot of time and imagination, you can do other pokemon as well with the papier-mâché technique.
Not only will these little cuties brighten up your home, you may also make them with kids during bonding time! Make your house and lot for sale in Pampanga that much more awesome “like no one ever was!”
